UPDATE: The FIFA World Cup 2026 Group E final fixture between Ecuador and Germany has officially concluded, with La Tri pulling off one of the biggest upsets of the tournament by securing a historic 2-1 victory at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Germany hit the ground running with an explosive start as Leroy Sané fired home a clinical opener in just under two minutes—marking the second-fastest World Cup goal in German history.
